Mirador del Roque de los Muchachos

A viewpoint at 2,426 metres in the municipality of Garafía, the highest point of La Palma, next to the Roque de los Muchachos Astrophysics Observatory and on the rim of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. It offers spectacular views of the caldera, the sea of clouds and, at night, one of the world's best skies for stargazing. Access to the viewpoint is free during the day.
