Ecomuseo de Guinea y Lagartario

The Ecomuseo de Guinea, a restored former village in the El Golfo valley that recreates the island's traditional life through its houses and a volcanic cave, declared a Site of Cultural Interest. The complex includes the Lagartario, a recovery centre for the endangered endemic El Hierro giant lizard. Visits are guided and usually require prior booking through the El Hierro island council.
