Camino de Jinama

The Camino de Jinama, one of El Hierro's most emblematic hiking routes, an old royal path of about 8 km and nearly 900 metres of ascent connecting the El Golfo valley with the Mirador de Jinama, at over 1,230 metres altitude. It passes historic churches and chapels and offers spectacular valley views; a demanding route, best done early and with good equipment.
